IRENA
Coming from a contemporary art career, Irena turned to music and videography as her ultimate forms of self expression. Originally a printmaker and painter born in South Africa, to Yugoslavian parents, Irena has been collaging cultures her whole life...electronic music became her medium to connect herself with a global community.
She is currently DJ resident/curator at Piknik and Casa Jaguar inTulum, Mexico...where she has been helping to shape the music scene for a few years. Her creative direction and content production work has had her working for Woomoon, Storytellers, Art with Me, and music hubs in Mexico. She co-founded Xeri
a few years ago.
