Under many monikers, Mexico City-based Soos has been pushing his own zany approach to dance music for over 13 years – via local channels like his co-owned Sueño label and through studio collaborative projects like Century and Cintas de Cárdenas; all three projects embedding an ever-eccentric taste. Through his DJ format he provides an overall shelter for a musical honesty where amusement and fun rule over all other traditional narratives.
Paying homage to the infinite variants of genres like house, trance and hip-hop, Soos grounds his selection based on energy and not style – providing a very particular dance experience which has landed him residencies in nomad parties like Sunday Sunday and local cult clubs like Yu Yu; in addition to slots in festivals like Bahidorá or Down in Mexico.
